Dr. Joe Carbone

An eclectic taste with fluency and mastery in many styles of music such as: rock, pop, blues, jazz, folk, funk, and classical.

Joe began playing the guitar at the age of 14. His eclectic taste in music has allowed him to become fluent in many styles of music such as: rock, pop, blues, jazz, folk, funk, and classical. Joe has a Bachelor’s degree in music performance from Rowan University focusing on classical guitar. Joe is currently his Doctorate degree in Classical guitar at the Shenandoah Conservatory studying under world-renowned pedagogue Julian Gray. Joe has performed in master-classes with artists such as: Jason Vieaux, Richard Provost, and Ruben Gonzales. In 2010, Joseph was a semi-finalist in the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Competition.
