Alex’s journey in music was set in motion in a family band where he embraced the drums early, eventually expanding into concert, marching, and jazz ensembles. After earning his Bachelor of Music from the University of Kansas with a jazz emphasis, he has spent over a decade refining his craft as performer, recording artist, and educator. His commitment to musical excellence is reflected in every lesson, performance, and collaborative project he undertakes.

Alex mentors students across all levels—children discovering rhythm, intermediate players refining technique, and advanced students preparing for ensemble, jazz, or performance settings.
