Kari Hart

Holds a Masters of Music in Classical Vocals and Performance.

Ms. Hart is a Master of Music student studying Vocal Performance under professor Patricia Miller. She is an experienced singer, flautist, and dancer and received her Bachelor of Music degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. majoring in Vocal Performance. In her time now at George Mason she has been honored to be a part of the opera program playing First Witch and choreographing the witches’ dance in Dido and Aeneas, Mrs. Gobineau in The Medium, and the Novice in Suor Angelica, Madame Poiretapée in Mesdame de la Halle, and Nerone in L'incoronazione di Poppea. Ms. Hart has also had the honor to perform multiple times with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO), under the direction of renowned conductors, Maestro Leonard Slatkin, and Constantine Kitsopoulos. She also regularly competes in vocal competitions such as National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) (Honors 2019)(2nd Place Regional 2020), Classical Singer, and George Shirley Vocal Competition (3rd prize 2016).
