
Kari Hart is a dynamic soprano, flautist, dancer, and passionate educator with years of experience performing across the country and beyond. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Wayne State University and a Master of Music from George Mason University, where she studied under world-renowned mezzo-soprano Patricia Miller.
Kari has lit up stages at the local, regional, national, and international levels, with standout performances in operas like Dido and Aeneas, Suor Angelica, The Medium, and L’incoronazione di Poppea. She’s also been featured with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra under the baton of maestros Leonard Slatkin and Constantine Kitsopoulos.
An active competitor and award-winning vocalist, Kari brings the same energy and excellence from the main stage to her students. Her conservatory-style approach emphasizes preparation, musical discipline, and personal growth—always balanced with fun and encouragement.
Whether she’s singing at the Detroit Opera House or mentoring students at Notes n’ Beats, Kari brings her ‘Hart’ to every performance and every lesson.
