He started studying percussion at Shenandoah University in high school before fully attending in 2020 as a music Composition Major. There, he studied as both a composer and percussionist, receiving awards for composition and obtaining principal roles in ensembles. He is currently a music teacher and freelance composer; and is active as an educator, arranger, and performer on drum set and piano in the Virginia area.
