With a Master's degree in Vocal Performance, Veronica teaches a variety of styles, including classical, musical theatre, pop, rock, and country. A native of Austin, Texas, she has performed in operatic productions as Gretel in Hansel and Gretel (Mason Opera), the Sandman and Dew Fairy in Hansel and Gretel (Portland Summer Opera), Luci Johnson in the world premiere of Sheldon Harnick’s Lady Bird (Texas State Opera Theatre), and Celia in Iolanthe (Mason Opera). Additionally, she has also been previously named as a finalist at both Virginia NATS and Mid-Atlantic NATS for consecutive years. Veronica studied voice from world-renowned mezzo-soprano Patricia Miller and accomplished baritone Oliver Worthington. A voice teacher for the past nine years, her students have been named finalists and semi-finalists for the National Hal Leonard Vocal Competition in both the Art Song and Musical Theatre categories; have been selected to the Virginia All-State Chorus; have been named to Virginia All-County and All-District Choruses; have been selected to Texas All-Region Choruses, and have been named winners in the Texas UIL State Solo/Small Ensemble contest. Outside of music, she enjoys yoga, reading, cooking, and hiking. Veronica holds a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance from George Mason University and a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Texas State University.
